Yoga for EveryBODY (all-levels) This is a slow paced essential Hatha yoga practice. Hatha (Ha meaning “sun” and tha meaning “moon”) is a branch of yoga intended to bring union to the entire being. This is a gentle, breath-centric class designed to inform, strengthen, clear energy and decompress the spine. We will honor sun salutations, the 6 directions of the spine, learn balance, clear the mind, while restoring and stabilizing the nervous system through pranayama (breath control), asana (postures), meditation and deep relaxation. There will be tailored modifications as this class is suitable for beginners as well as those with experience who are open to going deeper. Kate will be on the mat demonstrating Every ”Body” level yoga postures in this class.
